Dear Sir,

We are extremely thankful to Vagholkar for reading our article with interest and also complementing our surgical procedure.

With respect to the issue of 'Combo surgery' mentioned by him, we would like to clarify that we had no intention of performing such a 'combo surgery' without any scientific reason.

In the said patient, the Alvarado score [1] was 7 and the gall stones were symptomatic. All patients with symptomatic gall stones should undergo early cholecystectomy. [2],[3] Hence, cholecystectomy with appendicectomy was performed.

The purpose of the presentation was not about diagnosis of the pathology, but technique of the surgery, so, the reasoning for the surgery was not discussed.
